Birthday and Painting trip to Las Vegas

For Christmas we, Grandpa and Grams, gave Samantha and Kirsten a trip to Build a Bear. Terry ended up having to work, so Julie and Katie came with us. We had a great time at Build a Bear and then Samantha and Kirsten chose to go to Panda Express for lunch.

I talked to my Young Women today about keeping up with their extended family and how important extended family should be to them. I told them that they could create a family blog. I decided that I should practice what I preach. I need to be better about keeping up my blog. I have enjoyed keeping up with what Lacey, Laurie, Lyndsey, Trisha, and my girls and all of their families are doing by reading their blogs. I love the stories that they tell about their everyday experiences. They're hysterical! Maybe my blog can brighten other peoples lives also. Where do I start in talking about how wonderful it is being a grandma to three beautiful little girls...(Alicia, I need a picture of me with Abby to ad to this post)...rollercoasters, chocolate, Lake Powell, boating, (just a few of my all time favorite things), pale in comparison to being a grandma. I love my granddaughters, Kirsten, Katelyn and Abby and I miss them terribly when I'm not with them. I'm looking forward to the middle of March when I get to have them all together!

Our February 17 Day Trip

On Saturday, Terry and I drove over to Torrey and down Highway 12 overlooking Capital Reef National Park. This is only about 1 1/2 hours from Richfield. Isn't it gorgeous? We really enjoy taking these Saturday trips around this beautiful area. Alicia and Ken, don't get too jealous. Just come and visit soon!
